Most interviews are lost in preparation, not in the room. The day before, do four things.
- Read the advert again and list the three requirements that matter most. Your job tomorrow is to prove those three.
- Learn the company in fifteen minutes: what they sell, who their customers are, one recent piece of news. If it is an agency hiring for a client, ask the recruiter what they can share.
- Plan the journey or the connection. For in-person, leave for Lagos traffic, not for the map. For video, test the link, your camera, your light and your data bundle.
- Prepare your three best stories (lesson two shows how).
Lay out clothes, documents (CV copies, certificates if asked) and a charged phone the night before. Arrive ten minutes early; join a video call two minutes early.
Exercise: write down the three requirements from the advert and, next to each, one real example from your work that proves it.
